Junior Lab Tech
 
Location: Gretna, Louisiana 70053 — 100% onsite
Contract: ~ 6 Month (With possibilities of extensions based on performance and business needs)
 
Bachelor's degree — mandatory in Chemistry or Biology

Schedule:
  • Regular: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Saturday, 10:00 PM–8:30 AM
  • Training: Monday–Friday, 7:00 PM–3:30 AM
What the candidate will do:
  • Operate G C/MS (Gas Chromatograph/Mass Spectrometer)
  • Operate LC-MS/MS
  • Perform confirmatory testing on non-negative test results
  • Follow SAMHSA mandatory guidelines and other applicable regulatory requirements
  • Perform QC duties
  • Work in a toxicology laboratory environment
  • Work 40 hours/week, with overtime over 40 hours paid at 1.5×
Must-Haves:
  • Bachelor's degree — mandatory
  • Degree specifically in Biology, Chemistry, or equivalent related field
  • Experience/knowledge with G C/MS
  • Experience/knowledge with LC-MS/MS
  • Laboratory/testing experience
  • Ability to work the overnight schedule
  • Willingness to work onsite in Gretna, LA

Pay Range : $18-$19 an hour
