Duration: 6 Months Contract (Possiblity of extension)
Pay Rate Range: 25-30/hr

Must Haves:

 

  • Min 3–5+ years of data center operations or critical environment (10 years) - telecom, hospitals, manufacturing, logistics (demonstrating fast intervention)
  • mission-critical facilities, or facilities engineering experience
  • Bilingual in French is a must
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience reading technical documents, procedures and engineering drawings
  • Strong electrical /mechanical facilities experience -
  • Foundational knowledge of electrical
  • Troubleshooting mission-critical infrastructure, preventative and corrective maintenance
    (hands on with environments including low and medium voltage, and mechanical systems including HVAC, cooling/ heating, medium voltage systems, ventilation, transfer switches, breakers, bus bars, and generators, control modules
    Excellent attitude (patient, go getter mentality, flexible, ability to deal with ambiguity)
  • Leadership skills: Bias for action, Ownership, Team work, learn and be curious, transparency
    Project management skills - managing tasks, allocating tasks, managing projects.
  • Experience leading or mentoring technical teams/ technicians and escalations / handling emergencies 
  • Must be in Canada for over 5 years
